Social Lightscapes is a workshop held as part of PLDC 2017. Place des Fêtes is a major space in the 19th arrondissement of Paris. The square is a meeting place, home to the market and to various events. Four days of work, following a social and spatial study as a team, allowed us to offer solutions for this public space: listening to the residents and their main concerns in order - through qualitative and attractive lighting - to improve the quality of night life for city dwellers, to make them want to live in the square again and, in tribute to its name, to party!
